A Fire’s Rage featuring Invicta FC fighters Shanna Young and Mallory Martin

The growth of Women’s MMA has continued to be spearheaded by promotions such as LFA and many other promotions wanting a piece of the pie. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet two ferocious female battlers looking to deliver the goods at Invicta FC 31 on September 1 live on UFC Fight Pass.

Shanna Young – A professional since April 2015 and representing Knoxville Martial Arts Academy, Shanna Young holds a perfect 4-0 record comprised of two decisions, one knockout and one submission. Young has fought for KOTC and Valor Fights. In her MMA debut at Valor Fights 22, she submitted Katelyn Dykas via rear naked choke in the third round. Young defeated Moriel Charneski via majority decision at KOTC Attack Mode. At KOTC Bear Brawl, she defeated Christina Jobe via TKO. In her final outing with KOTC at KOTC Generation X Young defeated Pam Sorenson via split decision to extend her perfect streak to four to begin her professional career. For her debut outing with Invicta FC at Invicta FC 31 on September 1, she will face Lisa Spangler in a bantamweight battle. Good luck Shanna!

Mallory Martin – A professional since December 2016 and representing Zingano BJJ, Factory X and 303 Training Center, Mallory Martin owns a 3-2 record in five career bouts as a professional comprised of one submission, one knockout and one decision. Martin has fought for LFA and Invicta FC. In her MMA debut at Kunlun Fight MMA 7, she defeated Heqin Lin via unanimous decision. For her second appearance with Invicta FC at Invicta FC 27 Martin defeated Tiffany Masters via TKO in the second round. In her next outing with LFA at LFA 38, she submitted Linsey Williams via rear naked choke in round two. At Invicta FC 31 on September 1, Martin will look to make three in a row when she takes on Ashley Nichols in a strawweight encounter. Good luck Mallory!
