Here are some of the best grappling tournaments the UK & Ireland has to offer over the 2018/19 winter season.
Dublin International Open IBJJF Jiu-Jitsu Championship
This highly prestigious and internationally recognised tournament is heading to the National Basketball Arena Tallaght in Dublin, Ireland on Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th December 2018.
There is a lot involved in signing up to compete, including athlete affiliation and academy registration by November 16th – so if you want to be involved, don’t delay!
Divisions are available for all ages and skill levels, with Gi and No-Gi matches to be made.
Tickets are a little pricey, but you will be competing in arguably one of the best international Jiu-Jitsu organisations around today. Registration comes with a free t-shirt and spectators can watch for free!

English BJJ Open Championships
The UKBJJA highest ranked event of the year takes place on Saturday 24th & Sunday 25th November 2018 at the University of East London in London, England.
Registration is now open, IBJJF rules are in operation. Gi and No-Gi divisions available for Juvenile and Adult competitors.
Juvenile registration is £40 – Adult registration is £50. Spectator tickets are £10.

GRIP Grappling V
This No-Gi Submission Only wrestling tournament will be held on Sunday 9th December 2018 at the Sport Wales National Centre in Cardiff, UK.
Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced divisions are available to Teens, Juveniles, Adults and Masters with medals on offer to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each division.
‘Early’ Entry registration tickets are available until the 17th November.
