The first Cage Warriors event of 2019 takes place at the Exhibition Centre in Liverpool on Saturday 16th February. Sponsored by Iso-Sport CBD Performance Products.
After capping off what was arguably the most successful years for the promotion with the biggest event they have they held – CW100: Jack Shore vs Mike Ekundayo in Cardiff, Wales – a picture has been posted online teasing some of the fighters that have been booked for their next edition.
Here is who has been confirmed so far:
Martin ‘.50 Cal’ Stapleton (19-6-0) – Lightweight, SBG Manchester

Adam Ventre (5-3-0, 1NC) – Featherweight, Next Generation Liverpool
Lawrence Fitzpatrick (6-2-0) – Lightweight, MMA Academy Liverpool
Dylan ‘The Villain’ McLoughlin (4-1-0) – Welterweight, Next Generation Liverpool
Matthew ‘The Beast’ Bonner (4-3-1) – Welterweight, Supremacy Warrington

Jack Grant from Grimsby, England will be making his fourth appearance for Cage Warriors and is currently on a 6-fight win streak. His most recent victory was against Aleksi Mantykivi (11-5-0) from Helsinki, Finland – a first-round TKO. As a professional, Grant has an outstanding 15 first-round finishes on his record, his fastest victory being just 17 seconds.
Martin ‘.50 Cal’ Stapleton from Rochdale, Greater Manchester has a very balanced record – 6 KO’s, 6 submissions and 6 decisions with 1 more win coming from opponent DQ. Stapleton, unfortunately, lost his last two fights – his last victory was against Donovan Desmae (11-5-0) at CW85 in June 2017. However, he can win the fight wherever it goes – wins have come by a head kick, rear-naked choke, ground and pound, standing guillotine and heel hook. He also appeared on Season 9 of the The Ultimate Fighter.
Fighting out of Liverpool, Adam Ventre won his previous two fights in the first round, both as part of the Cage Warriors Academy North West show. He has secured victories at bantamweight, featherweight and lightweight. 6 victories have come by submission but his most recent fight was a first-round KO against Mahmoud Faour (4-3-0) when he headlined CWA North West 4 on December 1st 2018.
