The Firebrand featuring UFC fighter Domingo Pilarte

Over the course of the first two seasons of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series on UFC Fight Pass, a combo of skill and guile have earned several fighters a coveted place on the UFC roster.

In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will a southwestern firebrand keen to blaze a path of sheer terror in the UFC‘S bantamweight ranks.

A professional since July 2009 and representing 4 oz Fight Club and BJJ Revolution Team, Domingo Pilarte owns an 8-1 record in nine career bouts as a professional comprised of four submissions, two knockouts and two decisions.

Pilarte earned a contract with the UFC on week five of season two of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series in 2018. He has also fought for Legacy Fighting Alliance and Legacy FC.

In his MMA debut at Art of War Mano A Mano, he submitted Adolfo Ortega via armbar in the first round. Pilarte also tapped out Gerzan Chaw in round two via armbar.

Then in his debut appearance with Legacy Fighting Championship at Legacy FC 15, he knocked out Ricardo Delgado in the first round. At Fury Fighting 4 Pilarte defeated Joel Scott via split decision.

He submitted Javier Obregon via armbar in the second round at Fury Fighting 8. In his final outing with Legacy Fighting Championship at Legacy FC 59, Pilarte knocked out Chris Pham in round one.

For his lone outing with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 7, he defeated Adrian Yanez via split decision.

At Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series 5, Pilarte tapped out Vince Morales in the second round via rear naked choke and secured a contract with the UFC in the process.

The victory also gave him his fourth submission win as a professional.

With half of his professional victories coming via tap out Pilarte will be looking to bring his own brand of pure Texas heat to scorch 135 pounds!
