A professional since June 2010 and representing The MMA Lab under head coach John Crouch, Lauren Murphyowns a 10-4 record in 14 career bouts as a professional comprised of seven knockouts and three decisions.
Prior to making her debut with the UFC in 2014, Murphy fought for various promotions including Invicta Fighting Championships. She was also featured on The Ultimate Fighter season 26.
Murphy has garnered one Fight of the Night bonus in her tenure with the UFC thus far.
In her MMA debut, she defeatedKloiah Waylandvia TKO in the first round. Murphy also defeated her next three opponents that included victories overJulia GriffinandLeslie Wright.
Then at Legacy Fighting Championship 18, she defeatedJennifer Scottvia TKO in round one.
In her debut appearance with Invicta Fighting Championships at Invicta FC 5 Murphy defeatedKaitlinYoung via unanimous decision.
She also defeatedSarah D’aleliovia unanimous decision at Invicta FC 6. In her final outing with Invicta Fighting Championships at Invicta FC 7, Murphy defeatedMiriam Nakamotovia TKO in the fourth round.
In her third UFC appearance at UFN 83, she defeated Kelly Faszholzvia TKO in round three and earned her first Fight of the Night bonus in the process.
The victory also earned Murphy her seventh knockout win as a professional.
In 2017, she was selected to be a part of The Ultimate Fighter season 26 cast and was the third pick of team Eddie.
However, Murphy switched sides in episode eight and went over to team Justin.
