A professional since November 2016 and representing Fortis MMA alongside fellow UFC fighters Geoff Neal, Charles Byrd and numerous others, Kennedy Nzechukwu holds a perfect 6-0 record comprised of four knockouts and two decisions.
Nzechukwu earned a contract with the UFC on week eight of season two of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series in 2018.
He also appeared on week seven of season one of the shows in 2017 and has also competed with Legacy Fighting Alliance and Xtreme Knockout.
In his MMA debut at Xtreme Knockout 33, he defeated Matt Foster via TKO in the second round. Nzechukwu defeated Thai Walwyn via unanimous decision at Xtreme Knockout 34.
In the main event of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series 7, he defeated The Ultimate Fighter season 19 alumni Anton Berzin via split decision.
At Xtreme Knockout 40 Nzechukwu defeated Andre Kavanaugh via TKO in the first round.
In his sole appearance with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 40, he defeated Corey Johnson via TKO in the second round.
At Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series 8 Nzechuku defeated Dennis Bryant via TKO in round one to secure his fourth knockout victory as a professional and also earned a contract with the UFC in the process.
The win also extended his unbeaten streak to six to begin his professional career.
At UFC On ESPN 2 on March 30, he will face Paul Craig in a light heavyweight duel. This event will also mark the UFC‘S return to the city of brotherly love for the first time since 2011.Good luck Kennedy!
