Undefeated world champion Jack Shore is back in action at Cage Warriors 104 at Cardiff’s Viola Arena on April 27th, when he takes on Scott Malone in a Wales vs Scotland clash for the bantamweight title.

One of the most hotly anticipated bouts in the history of the Cage Warriors bantamweight division is set for April 27th, when the Viola Arena will once again play host to an incredible night of fight action for Welsh MMA fans.

Jack Shore’s fanbase has grown even more formidable since his world title win in December, and now look to descend on Cardiff by the thousands to witness him defend the belt against Scott Malone.

Malone is now on a seven-fight win streak and has proven himself one of the most dangerous contenders in the division. His last win at CW100 saw him finish Shore’s teammate Josh Reed just minutes into the first round, and he’ll plan to do the same against Shore – something no man has been able to do – taking the belt back to Scotland in the process.

Shore said: “I’m the champion so I don’t pick and choose – whoever wants to come to Wales and try and take my belt is welcome to do so. They all think they’ve got the skills to beat me, but when it’s go time it’s a different story. And with thousands of Welsh fans behind me, it’s a hostile atmosphere when you’re in there.

“I thank Scott for taking the fight, he’s a great fighter with a very good skill set, but on April 27th the strap is staying in Wales.”

Wales’ MMA scene is ever-growing and perhaps the strongest it’s ever been, with Jack Shore holding the Cage Warriors title and a number of young up-and-coming fighters beginning to make a serious name for themselves on the European stage. Many of them will compete at CW104 on April 27th alongside Shore: just announced on the card are Mason Jones, Aaron Khalid, Josh Reed, Kris Edwards, Cory McKenna, Oban Elliot and Jordan Peake.

“We’re seeing a real surge in Welsh talent at the moment that makes it such an exciting territory for Cage Warriors,” says the promotion’s President Graham Boylan.

“Shore vs Malone for the title is a huge main event. Jack has managed to assemble a Welsh fanbase on a level we’ve never really seen before. Think McGregor in Dublin – this is going to be massive.”
