Tickets will go on general sale on Friday, June 28
London, UK – Leading mixed martial arts promotion Bellator MMA has today announced its hugely anticipated return to Dublin, Ireland.
The event will take place on Friday, September 27, at the 3Arena and will be the fourth instalment of the Bellator European Fight Series.
Tickets to Bellator Dublin go on general sale Friday, June 28, at 9 a.m. BST and can be purchased through Ticketmaster.ie and Bellator.com, as well as the 3Arena box office.
Following a hugely successful sell-out event in March of this year, the promotion will return to the Emerald Isle for what is set to be another mouth-watering event, featuring a fight card stacked with Irish homegrown and international talent.
Bellator’s most recent trip to Dublin delivered one of the greatest nights in Irish MMA history and was watched by a sell-out crowd inside the 3Arena and thousands of fight fans around the world. In the main event 22-year old SBG Ireland prodigy James Gallagher defeated Steven Graham in the first round via submission, a win which further cemented “The Strabanimal’s” reputation as one of the most exciting talents in the Bellator bantamweight division.
Meanwhile, Team Ryano lightweight Myles Price defeated Peter Queally via split decision in the all Irish co-main event in what was dubbed the biggest grudge fight in Irish MMA history.
David Green, Head of Bellator Europe, said: “Ireland has always been a very important market for us and we are delighted to be returning to Dublin again in September.
“The event in Dublin in February this year was a landmark moment for the promotion and our dedicated fan base in Ireland made sure it was an unforgettable night of MMA action that will live long in the memory.”
He added: “The European Fight Series has so far delivered spectacular finishes, highlight-reel knockouts and huge upsets and we are anticipating another blockbuster event in September.”
Bellator Dublin will be the fourth instalment of six scheduled Bellator European Fight Series events set to take place throughout the UK and Europe in 2019, with two more events planned for later this year.
With a sell-out crowd expected on the night, Bellator Dublin promises to once again provide Irish MMA fans with an unforgettable night of MMA action.
Bout announcements are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
Bellator Dublin will be broadcast live on Channel 5 in the UK and on Virgin Media Television in Ireland.
