Across The Pond Profile: Cage Warriors fighter Thomas Robertsen

The land of Vikings has had an army of overwhelming fierceness on recent Cage Warriors events from the total package that is Soren Bak to the second coming of Nicolas Dalby. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a fearsome Viking whose warrior spirit has him ready to swing the axe in the Cage Warriors middleweight division. A professional since March 2015 and representing Sharpsborg Chi MMA, Thomas Robertsen owns an 8-2 record in 10 career bouts as a professional comprised of four submissions, three knockouts and one decision. Robertsen has competed with BCMMA and Cage Warriors and has managed to finish seven of his eight professional victories.

In his MMA debut at BCMMA 10, he submitted Nathius Fredrick in the first round via rear-naked choke. Robertsen also defeated his next three opponents that included victories over Michael Rirsch and Matt Robinson. Then at BCMMA 15, he faced France’s Aymard Guih and defeated him via TKO in the second round. In his second appearance with Cage Warriors at Cage Warriors 84 in London Robertsen faced Phil Wells and defeated him via unanimous decision to earn his first and only decision win as a professional thus far. At Cage Warriors 93 he submitted Germany’s Saeed Younesi via rear-naked choke in the first round to earn back to back victories with Cage Warriors.

At Cage Warriors 106 Night of Champions, Robertsen faced Michael Younis and went on to tap him out in the second round via rear-naked choke. The win also earned Robertsen the fourth submission victory of his professional career. Earning a finish in seven of his eight wins and having an endless amount of Viking blood flowing through his veins ensures that this Norse raider will keep swinging away at middleweight invaders!
