Across the Pond Profile: UFC fighters Phil Rowe and Hannah Goldy

An appearance on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series can often be seen as a blessing in disguise to up and comers. in today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to two gators ready to dive into the deep waters of the UFC.

Phil Rowe

A professional since October 2014 and representing Fusion X Cel, Phil Rowe owns a 7-2 record in nine career bouts as a professional comprised of four submissions and three knockouts. Rowe earned a contract with the UFC on week nine of season three of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series in 2019 and has finished all seven of his professional victories. At House of Fame 4, he submitted Jeremy Bethea via rear-naked choke in the second round. Rowe also defeated Ian Brofsky at PA Cage Fight 27 via TKO in round two. Then at V3 Fights 64, he faced Josh Zuckerman and submitted him via rear-naked choke in the first round. Rowe also defeated his next two opponents in Cole Milani and Andrew Hellner. At Island Fights 53 he tapped out Matt McKeon in the second round. In the headliner of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series nine Rowe faced Leon Shahbazyan and defeated him via TKO in round three to a UFC contract. The victory also earned Rowe the third knockout win of his professional career. Rowe is set to show the UFC that there can only be one true king at middleweight!

Hannah Goldy

A professional since March 2016 and representing Fusion X Cel, Hannah Goldy owns a 5-1 record in six career bouts as a professional comprised of four decisions and one knockout. Goldy appeared on week one of season three of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series in 2019. In her MMA debut at Island Fights 37, she defeated Gillian Robertson via unanimous decision. She also defeated Vanessa Grimes via TKO in round two at Island Fights 46. Goldy defeated her next two foes via decision in Lisa Blaine and Shannon Goughary. At Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series 1 she faced Kali Robbins and defeated her via unanimous decision to earn the fourth decision win of her professional career. Even though she has six professional contests under her belt, Goldy faces challenges with the strength of a hurricane!
