Cage Warriors 107 results
Cage Warriors’ return to the fighting city of Liverpool delivered with an action-packed card, topped off by a first-round finish for Tom Aspinall.
Aspinall’s power and speed has been consistently praised during fight camp by teammate and UFC star Darren Till, and last night it was proven.
The North West heavyweight star took less than a minute to end the fight, landing a right hand flush on the jaw of Michael Ben Hamouda followed by a barrage of punches to seal the deal. The UK has a serious heavyweight prospect on its hands.
In the co-main event, Adam Ventre battled to a solid decision victory over Antanas Jazbutis.
The Liverpool name proved his true warrior material by accepting multiple replacement opponents at short notice, declaring his willingness to fight anyone, anytime in order to reach the top.
Before that, Donovan Desmae staked his claim as a real contender at lightweight with a clinical first-round submission win over Tim Barnett.
The card began with back-to-back finishes in the bantamweight and flyweight divisions, with Adam Wilson and Luke Shanks picking up TKO wins. Adam Proctor delivered yet another dominant performance in the welterweight division, putting his name firmly in the title conversation.
Cage Warriors released a breaking news announcement earlier in the night, confirming that Liverpool hometown hero and former champion Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett will return at CW111 in London on November 22nd. He’ll join other top names on the card such as James Webb and Mads Burnell, both of whom are defending their world titles at the Indigo at the O2.
Up next for Cage Warriors is a return to Cardiff’s Viola Arena for CW108, headlined by unbeaten Welsh prospect Mason ‘The Dragon’ Jones.
