A professional since September 2016 and representing Tri-Force MMA, Richard Santiago owns a 7-2 record in nine professional bouts comprised of six submissions and one knockout. Santiago appeared on week two during season three of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series in 2019 and has spent the whole of his professional tenure with CES MMA. He has gone on to finish all seven of his professional victories.

In his promotional and MMA debut at CES MMA 38, he faced Brandon Warne and submitted him via rear-naked choke in the first round. Santiago also tapped out Devin Pilkington in round one via rear-naked choke at CES MMA 39. Then at CES MMA 41, he defeated Raymond Yanez via TKO in the second round to pick up his first and only knockout win during his professional career thus far. Santiago submitted Chad Kelly via rear-naked choke in round two at CES MMA 42. He also tapped out Miguel Restrepo at CES MMA 45 via rear-naked choke in the second round. At CES MMA 47 Santiago submitted Shawn Mack in round one via rear-naked choke, He tapped out Billy Giovanella via rear-naked choke in the first round at CES MMA 53 to earn the sixth submission victory of his professional career.

In his next appearance with CES MMA at CES MMA 60 on January 24 live on UFC Fight Pass, he will face off against Giorgi Kudukhasvili in a battle at bantamweight. Good luck Richie!
