Across the Pond Profile: UFC fighter Ode Osbourne

To earn the respect of Dana White, a fighter must talk the talk and walk the walk when they appear on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a crafty ground artist looking to paint a picture of pain with a deft stroke of the brush at UFC 246 on January 18. A professional since April 2015 and representing Pura Vida MMA and BJJ, Ode Osbourne owns an 8-2-1 record in 10 professional bouts comprised of four submissions, three knockouts one decision and a no contest. Osbourne earned his UFC contract on week four during season three of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series in 2019 and has gone on to finish seven of his eight professional victories with the majority of those wins have come within the first round. He has also fought on various regional organizations in the Midwestern United States including NAFC and Pure Fighting Championships.

In his MMA debut at NAFC Explosion, he submitted Brent Lee via rear-naked choke in the second round. Osbourne also defeated his next two opponents in David Rhodes and Doug Milbrath. Then at Pure Fighting Championships 5, he faced Cory Galloway and went on to defeat him via split decision. Osbourne submitted Seigenald Aurtan Daley Jr in the first round via triangle choke at Pure Fighting Championship 9, He defeated Daley Jr for the second time via TKO in round one at Pure FC 10 The Dark Knights Rise. Osbourne tapped out Kelly Offield in round one via triangle choke at HD MMA 15.

At DWTNCS four, he faced Armando Villareal and went on to submit him via armbar in the first round to earn the fourth submission victory of his professional career along with a UFC contract. At UFC 246 on January 18 Osbourne will face Brian Kelleher in a bantamweight affair. Good luck Ode!
