Having an upbeat and unbreakable poise is one of the ten commandments in terms of obtaining success as a professional mixed martial artist. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a portland python looking to deliver a piercing ray of intense sunshine with his dazzling and expansive array of ground attacks at Bellator 239 on February 21 from the Winstar World Casino in Thackerville Oklahoma. A professional since February 2017 and representing American Top Team Portland, Cris Lencioni owns a 5-2 record in seven professional MMA contests comprised of four submissions and one decision. Lencioni has spent the majority of his tenure as a professional with Bellator MMA and has gone on to finish 80 per cent of his victories thus far in his career as a professional with the bulk of those wins coming within the first round. Only one of Lencioni’s wins has made it the full three rounds.

In his MMA debut at CageSport 44, he faced Wyatt Gonzalez and went on to defeat him via unanimous decision. Lencioni submitted Elijah Ross in the first round via rear-naked choke at KOTC Future Kings. He also tapped out Dylan Atkinson via armbar in round one at FCFF Rumble At The Roseland 93. Then in his debut outing with Bellator MMA at Bellator 189, Lencioni faced Thomas Lopez and went on to tap him out in the first round via triangle choke to pick up his first win under the banner of Bellator MMA. At Bellator 221 he submitted Adil Benjilany via triangle choke in the first round. The win also secured Lencioni the fourth submission victory of his professional career. He also earned his second win with Bellator MMA in the process.

In his next appearance with Bellator MMA at Bellator 239 on February 21, Lencioni will lock horns with Salim Mukhidinov in a battle at featherweight. Good luck Cris!
