At CXF 15 Rage in the Cage Torres submitted Mykola Alvazian via triangle choke in the first round. For his one and only outing with Bellator MMA at Bellator 214, he tapped out Steve Ramirez via arm-triangle choke in round one.

In his Legacy Fighting Alliance debut at LFA 69, Torres submitted Jesus Urbina via arm-triangle choke in the third round to secure the fourth submission victory of his professional career. At LFA 84 on March 20 he will face Richard Palencia in a battle at bantamweight. Good luck Desmond!
