Across the Pond Profile: Cage Fury Fighting Championships fighter Shawn Teed

The promotion you began your career in as a professional mixed martial artist is sometimes the perfect place to reinvent yourself after tasting the sharp sting of defeat. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a jersey tower of brute strength whose top-notch prowess on the ground and no-quit mentality even when the cards do not fall his way makes him the top big boy in CFFC. A professional since December 2015 and representing Killer B Combat Sports Academy, Shawn Teed owns a 6-2-1 record in eight professional contests comprised of four submissions, two knockouts and a draw. Teed has spent his entire professional tenure with Cage Fury Fighting Championships and appeared on week seven during season two of DWTNCS in 2018. He has finished all six of his victories as a professional thus far with the bulk of those wins coming within the first two rounds.

In his MMA and promotional debut at Cage Fury Fighting Championships 53, he submitted Chris Daukaus in the second round via keylock. Teed also tapped out Brad Schott via keylock in round two at Cage Fury Fighting Championships 58. He submitted Johnathan Romero via keylock in the first round at Cage Fury Fighting Championships 61. Then at Cage Fury Fighting Championships 66, Teed faced Joshua Marsh and went on to defeat him via TKO in the second round. At CFFC 69 he submitted Alex Meyers in round two via keylock to pick up his fourth submission win as a professional.

For his next outing with Cage Fury Fighting Championships at CFFC 79, he took on east coast MMA veteran Ben Reiter and went on to defeat him via TKO in the third round. The win also earned Teed the second knockout victory of his professional career. With a six for six finish rate, this roar of this jersey lion is growing ever more ferocious!
