Across the Pond Profile: Cage Warriors fighter James Hendin

All forms of physical activity require some form of risk increase and MMA is no exception to the survival rule. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a featherweight forester speed chopping his pathway through the division in the wake of global turbulence. A professional mixed martial artist since December 2018 and representing Team Fish Tank under Andrew Fisher, James Hendin owns an undefeated 5-0 record comprised of three decisions and two knockouts. Hendin has spent the majority of his professional tenure with Cage Warriors and has also fought for Fightstar Championship. Out of Hendin’s five professional victories in his MMA career thus far, he has gone on to score and earn a finish in two of them. Three of the five wins overall have gone to the scorecards of the judges with all three going the full three rounds.

In his MMA debut at Fightstar Championship 16, he took on Bjarki Omarsson and defeated him via TKO in round one. Hendin defeated Joshua Onwardi via TKO in the second round in his debut outing with Cage Warriors at Cage Warriors 102. Then at Cage Warriors 106 Night of Champions, he faced Kingsley Crawford and went on to defeat him via unanimous decision. At Cage Warriors 111 Hendin defeated Jordan Barton via unanimous decision.

For his next Cage Warriors appearance at Cage Warriors 113, he took on Welsh submission specialist Kris Edwards and defeated him via unanimous decision. The win also secured Hendin the third decision victory of his professional career along with his fourth straight win in Cage Warriors. In a division bursting and bubbling over with prospects, a plenty not a one stands then this oak of royalty at 145 pounds with an ever-expanding list of top-notch grade A scalps!
