Across the Pond Profile: Legacy Fighting Alliance fighter Jacob McClintock

If there is one thing mixed martial artists thrive on, it is routine and becoming part of that gym’s family unit that will persevere together through the sunshine and the rain. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a southern sun devil whose unquestioned finishing prowess has become chapter and verse like the ticking of a clock. A professional mixed martial artist since May 2007 and representing Arizona Combat Sports, Jacob McClintock owns a 10-3 record in 13 professional contests comprised of six submissions and four knockouts. Prior to his debut fight with LFA in July 2019 at LFA 72, McClintock fought for various promotions including Bellator MMA. He has finished all 10 of his victories with the bulk of those wins coming inside of round one and one making it into round two. During his professional tenure, not a single one of McClintock’s fights has yet to make it into the hands of the judge’s or the scorecards.

In his MMA debut at Proving Grounds 1, he faced Jason Ward and defeated him via TKO in the first round. McClintock also defeated Adam Liston via TKO in round one. Then at Rage in the Cage 110, he submitted Eric Regan in the first round via armbar. McClintock defeated Zach Taylor via TKO in round one at Total Combat 31. He also defeated Beau Baker and Alexander Yakolev. McClintock tapped out Darius Yancy via reverse triangle choke in the first round. At Brazil Fights 6 he submitted Edson Jorge in round one via triangle choke. McClintock tapped out Jeremie Holloway in the first round.

In his debut fight for LFA at LFA 72, he took on Raymond Pina and submitted him via armbar in the second round to pick up the sixth submission victory of his professional career along with his first win under the banner of LFA. Time is of the essence when avoiding the pronged points of this sun devil’s spear!
