Each coast has its brand of funky beats when it comes to their makeup as an MMA fighter. In today’s Across The Pond, you will meet an east coast master of funk bringing the groove of the beat and energy to Ring Of Combat. A professional mixed martial artist since May 2018 and representing Team Balance, Joseph Pyfer owns a 7-1 record as a pro-MMA fighter in eight bouts overall comprised of four knockouts, two submissions, and one decision. Before his debut with Ring Of Combat at ROC 68 in May 2019, Pyfer fought for various MMA promotions along the east coast of the United States including CES MMA and has finished six out of his seven victories in his tenure thus far as a pro-MMA fighter with the bulk of those wins coming within a span of two rounds. Only one of the seven victories overall has lasted all three rounds.

In his MMA debut at AOW 7, he defeated Steven Covington via TKO in the first round. Pyfer also defeated Derek Wilson via unanimous decision in his lone outing with CES MMA at CES MMA 52. Then at AOW 8, he faced Lorenzo Hunt and tapped him out in the first round via rear-naked choke. Pyfer submitted Eric Roncoroni via rear-naked choke in round one at AOW 11. In his debut fight for Ring Of Combat at ROC 68, he knocked out Elijah Gboille in the second round. Pyfer also knocked out Matt Foster in round one at ROC 69.

At Ring Of Combat 71, he took on Chase Gamble and defeated him in round number two. The win earned Pyfer the fourth knockout victory of his professional career along with win number three under the banner of Ring Of Combat. Pyfer has begun his MMA journey strong thanks to the ability to close the deal like a practised boss of the mafia!
