Across the Pond Profile: Legacy Fighting Alliance fighter Kai Kamaka III

Heart and spirit are just a few of the traits that are stored inside a mixed martial artist’s switch box with some showcasing the live and die by the sword mentality. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a volcanic swordsman ready to swing his hot blade of peril in Legacy Fighting Alliance. A professional mixed martial artist since October 2012 and representing Lion Of Judah, Kai Kamaka iii owns a 7-2 record in nine professional bouts comprised of six decisions and one submission. Prior to debuting with Legacy Fighting Alliance in July 2020 at LFA 87, Kamaka iii fought for several big-name promotions over the course of his journey in the professional ranks including Bellator MMA and is currently 1-0 under the LFA banner. The majority of Kamaka’s wins as a pro-MMA fighter have made it on to the scorecards with six of those seven victories going the distance with a single first-round finish.

In his MMA debut at KOTC Mana, he faced Anthony Reyes and went on to defeat him via unanimous decision. Kamaka iii submitted Nui Wheeler via rear-naked choke in the first round. Then at KOTC Energetic Pursuit, he defeated Rick James via unanimous decision. Kamaka iii defeated Mauricio Diaz via unanimous decision at KOTC Highlight Reel. For his debut appearance with Bellator MMA at Bellator 213 he defeated Shojin Miki via unanimous decision. At Bellator 236 Kamaka iii defeated Spencer Higa via unanimous decision to pick up back to back wins with Bellator MMA.

in his promotional debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 87, he defeated Michael Stack via unanimous decision. The win earned Kamaka iii the sixth decision victory of his professional career along with win number one under the LFA banner. No stranger to the daily grind of MMA, this Hawaiian lion is rising with the swell of the ocean’s tide!
