Across the Pond Profile: Bellator MMA fighter Danni Neilan

Bellator MMA’S presence in the European market has steadily increased in noise due to many Cage Warriors castaways taking a leap of professional faith in order to gain a stock increase and turn it into a big payday down the line later on in hopes of adding another chapter when the bright lights fade off. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a jeweled lioness ready to bring the emerald shine from the Alianiz Cloud in Milan Italy on September 26 as part of the promotion’s return to their European series. A professional mixed martial artist since September 2019 and representing Relentless Mixed Martial Arts and Fitness Centre, Danni Neilan holds an undefeated 2-0 record as a professional with both of her victories as a pro-MMA fighter coming via decision. Neilan has spent the whole of her time as a professional mixed martial artist thus far with Bellator MMA. Both of Neilan’s wins during her pro career have gone the distance over a three-round 15 minute period. She is currently 2-0 under the banner of Bellator MMA.

In her professional and promotional debut at Bellator 227, she faced Camila Rivarola of France and went on to defeat her via unanimous decision. For her second outing with Bellator MMA at Bellator 240 Neilan defeated Italy’s Chiara Penco via unanimous decision. The victory earned Neilan the second decision win of her professional career along with back to back victories with Bellator MMA.

At Bellator Milan on September 26. Neilan will be looking to make it three wins in a row when she squares off with yet another international foe in France’s Claire Lopez in an encounter at strawweight. Other international talents that will be featured on Bellator Milan include the undefeated Fabian Edwards, submission specialist Richie Smullen, and Cage Warriors veterans Cory Tait and Aiden Lee. Good luck Danni!
