The final night of ‘THE TRILOGY’ series has now been made official, with fighters weighing in for the last time in Manchester today.

At the top of the CW116 bill, Lightweight Champion Mason Jones moves up to challenge for his second world title against No1 Welterweight contender Adam Proctor in a domestic superfight. If he’s successful, Jones will join the UFC’s Conor McGregor and Dan Hardy as Cage Warriors two-weight champions.

A calm and collected Proctor took to the scales at 169.7 lbs, followed by Jones – who wore his lightweight belt over one shoulder – at 169.4 lbs.

In the co-main event, surging Irish prospect Paul Hughes (142.7 lbs) meets Aidan Stephen (145.6 lbs) in the featherweight division, in one of the most intriguing bouts of the week. Will Stephen de-rail the Irishman’s hype train, or will Hughes remain undefeated?

The card will also feature appearances from former title challengers Steve Aimable and Sam Creasey.

Due to COVID-19 medical precautions, a featherweight title fight between Morgan Charrière and Max Coga has been removed from the card.

Cage Warriors 114, 115 and 116 will take place across three consecutive nights on the 24th, 25th and 26th September in ‘THE TRILOGY’, one of the company’s most ambitious projects to date. The events will take place behind-closed-doors at the BEC Arena in Manchester, broadcast to millions on UFC Fight Pass and a host of broadcast partners across the globe.
