Across The Pond Profile: UFC fighter Bea Malecki

What you see isn’t always what you get when an alumnus of the Ultimate Fighter makes their UFC debut. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a sledgehammer looking to hammer home her place as one of the UFC‘S bantamweight Vikings of brutality at UFC On ESPN Plus 37 on October 10 in the promotion’s second stint on fight island as October begins with a bang. A professional mixed martial artist since November 2017 and representing Fortis MMA, Bea Malecki owns an undefeated 4-0 record as a professional comprised of two submissions, one knockout, and one decision. Malecki fought for Excite Fight prior to debuting in the UFC at UFN 153 in June 2019. She has gone on to earn a finish in three of her four overall victories thus far in her career as a pro-MMA fighter with two first-round finishes and has made onto the scorecards once. Malecki appeared on The Ultimate Fighter season 28 as a member of team Kelvin in 2018 as his sixth selection.

In her MMA debut at ExciteFight Conquest of the Cage, she faced Faith Davis and went on to submit her via rear-naked choke in the first round. Malecki defeated Tracy Smith via TKO in round one to pick up her first knockout victory as a professional. In 2018, she was selected to be a part of The Ultimate Fighter season 28 cast at women’s featherweight and was the sixth pick of team Kelvin.

For her UFC debut at UFN 153 in her home nation of Sweeden, Malecki tapped out Duda Santana in the second round via rear-naked choke. She defeated Veronica Macedo via unanimous decision at UFC On ESPN Plus 28 to earn the first decision win of her professional career. At UFC On ESPN Plus 37 on October 10, Malecki will face Tracy Cortez in a women’s bantamweight affair. Good luck Bea!
