A professional mixed martial artist since September 2012 and representing Power MMA, LaRue Burley owns a 10-4 record in 14 pro bouts comprised of three submissions, three knockouts, and four decisions. Burley has fought for various promotions over the course of his career as a pro-MMA fighter including Legacy Fighting Alliance and Bellator MMA. He has finished six of his 10 victories in his tenure thus far as a professional mixed martial artist with two first-round finishes. He has made it on to the scorecards four times during his pro career.

In his MMA debut, he faced Kelley Oser and went on to defeat him via unanimous decision. Burley defeated Gabe Rivas via TKO in the first round at KOTC Regulators. Then in his promotional debut with Bellator MMA at Bellator 100, he defeated Bubba Jenkins via TKO In round three. Burley defeated Cliff Wright via unanimous decision at Bellator 117. At Bellator 126, he submitted Raymond Pina in the second round. Burley tapped out TJ Hepburn in round one at RFA 25. He defeated Cedric Marks via TKO in the third round at Horsepower promotions Fists Of Fury 11. Burley defeated Maycon Mendonca via unanimous decision at LFA 24. At LFA 53, he defeated Manny Villarreal via unanimous decision to pick up his fourth decision win as a professional.

At XFC 43, Burley submitted Alejandro Sanchez in the third round. The victory earned Burley the third submission win of his professional career. With 14 fights under his professional belt, this solar sun catcher has held many a foe hostage at the prongs of a pitchfork!
