Across The Pond Profile: Peggy Morgan

For 28 seasons, The Ultimate Fighter provided a voice for the voiceless with numerous alumni having reached the peak after a life-altering stint on the show. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a giantess of granite whose never say die mentality has turned foes to stone with a single glance of her piercing eyes. A professional mixed martial artist since June 2012 and representing Trianuph BJJ, Peggy Morgan owns a 4-4 record through eight professional bouts with all four of her wins as a pro-MMA fighter coming via decision. Morgan appeared on The Ultimate Fighter season 18 as a member of Team Rousey and has also fought for Invicta Fighting Championships and CES MMA. She has made it onto the scorecards four times in her tenure as a professional mixed martial artist, winning via decision in all four instances. The majority of Morgan’s wins during her pro career have come in a three-round period with a duration of 15 minutes.

In her MMA debut at Reality Fighting, she faced Kaline Medeiros and went on to defeat her via majority decision. Morgan also defeated Revelina Berto via unanimous decision at CFA 10. In 2013 she was selected to be a part of The Ultimate Fighter season 18 cast at 135 pounds as part of the inaugural class for women’s bantamweight. For her elimination fight to make it into the house, Morgan defeated Bethany Marshall via TKO in the first round and was the third female selection of head coach Ronda Rousey. In her second appearance under the Invicta FC banner at Invicta FC 10, she defeated Andria Wawro via unanimous decision.

At CES MMA 30, Morgan defeated Jessy Miele via a unanimous decision.  The victory earned Morgan the fourth decision win of her professional career. Gritty with the determination of a barking bulldog, Morgan has an attack mode that turns on if a foe treads with reckless regard for the instincts of a mother bear!
