A professional mixed martial artist since January 2021 and representing Syndicate Mixed Martial Arts under the steerage of head coach John Wood, Shane Shapiro holds a 1-0 record with his lone win in the professional ranks coming via submission. Shapiro is currently 1-0 under the banner of Legacy Fighting Alliance with a single first-round finish under his belt. He has yet to make it onto the scorecards during his tenure as a pro-MMA fighter so far. The only win during Shapiro’s pro career has come in the space of a single round over a period of fewer than five minutes with a time of one minute and 44 seconds.
In his promotional and professional MMA debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 97 in the promotion’s debut event of 2021 live on UFC Fight Pass from the Hartman Arena in Kanas, he took on Cam Ansel and submitted him in the first round via kimura. The win earned Shapiro the first submission victory of his professional career. He also picked up victory number one under the banner of Legacy Fighting Alliance in the process.
