MMA’s youth movement is going through a boom that is moving full steam ahead in the midst of tough times. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a tiger-like yellow jacket whose aggression has the LFA lightweight ranks down for the count. A professional mixed martial artist since January 2017 and representing St Charles MMA, Lucas Clay owns a 7-1 record through eight professional bouts comprised of five decisions and two submissions. Clay is currently 2-0 under the banner of Legacy Fighting Alliance and has finished two out of his seven victories with a single first-round finish. He has gone to the scorecards five times over the course of his journey in the professional ranks, winning via decision in all five of those instances. Clay has fought for numerous promotions throughout his career as a pro-MMA fighter including Legacy Fighting Alliance.

In his MMA debut at Fight Hard MMA, he faced Anthony Livingston and went on to defeat him via unanimous decision. Clay also defeated Aaron Mitchell via unanimous decision at GFS 9. He submitted Brant Moore via triangle choke in the second round at AKA Rite of passage 3. Then in his promotional debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 42, he defeated Mike Breeden via split decision. At Nemesis Fighting Alliance Havoc, Clay defeated John Ramirez via unanimous decision. He tapped out Craig Fruth at Hoosier Fight Club 41 in round three via triangle choke to pick up his second submission win as a professional.

For his second appearance under the LFA banner at LFA 98, he defeated Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series season three alumni JJ Okanovich via unanimous decision. The victory earned Clay the fifth decision win of his professional career. He also picked up his second victory under the banner of Legacy Fighting Alliance in the process. A deathly sting awaits those who go in blind against this show me state hornet!
