The largest global sports media property in Asian history, ONE Championship™ (ONE), today announced ONE: EMPOWER, an all-women’s fight card to be broadcast live on Friday, 28 May.
In the main event, reigning ONE Women’s Strawweight World Champion “The Panda” Xiong Jing Nan of China will defend her World Title against #2-ranked strawweight contender Michelle Nicolini of Brazil.
Quarterfinal matchups for the ONE Women’s Atomweight World Grand Prix were also announced.
- #1-ranked atom weight Denice “The Menace” Zamboanga of the Philippines will face South Korean superstar Seo Hee Ham in the latter’s ONE Championship debut.
- #2-ranked atom weight Meng Bo of China will take on wrestling phenom Ritu “The Indian Tigress” Phogat of India.
- #4-ranked atomweight Stamp Fairtex of Thailand will rematch #3-ranked atomweight Alyona Rassohyna of Ukraine following Rassohyna’s last-second victory in February.
- Itsuki Hirata of Japan will do battle with ONE Championship newcomer Alyse “Lil’ Savage” Anderson of the United States.
