Bellator MMA announces additional broadcast partners to air live events

BELLATOR MMA has today announced a raft of new international broadcast deals, meaning more territories than ever before will have live access to BELLATOR’s full schedule of events throughout 2021.

In Australia and New Zealand, BELLATOR MMA has extended its relationship with Spike into 2021 and has added 10 play – the live streaming and on-demand service owned by the national free-to-air network, Network 10 – as a new partner.

Meanwhile, in Poland, the state broadcaster TVP will broadcast all of BELLATOR’s 2021 events live and free-to-air.

BELLATOR MMA has also confirmed they have renewed existing TV broadcast deals in the Netherlands with free to air TV channel Spike and in Israel with leading multi-channel TV network Ananey Communications.

As recently announced, all of the BELLATOR action will be shown live in Ireland on either Virgin Media Two or Virgin Sport, whilst highlights and BELLATOR news and updates will be available across the Virgin Media platform.

The latest round of marquee broadcast deals follows the recent news that SHOWTIME is now the new home of BELLATOR MMA in the United States, BBC iPlayer will broadcast every event live in the UK, and major sports network, Okko Sport, is the broadcast partner in Russia.

The promotion’s first event of the year, BELLATOR MMA 255: Pitbull vs. Sanchez 2, takes place this Friday (2nd April) at the Mohegan Sun, Connecticut. Three further events are scheduled to take place throughout April and May, with some of the biggest names from the world of MMA in action.

Head of BELLATOR Europe, David Green, said: “We are very excited to announce this latest slate of broadcast deals which will continue to help us grow our presence across Europe and internationally, and to bring world-class MMA action to an ever-growing audience of fans all around the world.”
