He knocked out Armal Popal in round two at Lions Fighting Championship 7. Belhadj submitted Garik Shahbabyan at European Beatdown 6 in the second round via heel hook to pick up his second submission victory as a professional.

For his second outing with Cage Warriors at Cage Warriors 122, he defeated Tom Mearns via unanimous decision. The win earned Belhadj the second decision victory of his professional career along with victory number one under the banner of Cage Warriors in the process. At 7-3 with five finishes coupled with double-digit cage experience, Belhadj is a cannon primed for a thunderous explosion!
