Footballing legend Daniel Alves joined the flood of people congratulating His Highness Shaikh Khaled bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the founder of the fastest-growing promotion in the world BRAVE Combat Federation, on the success of BRAVE CF 50. At the beginning of the month, the organization officially became the first-ever mixed martial arts promotion to visit 21 countries in 5 continents during its first 50 events.
Dani Alves is widely recognized as one of the best right-backs of all time and is the winningest player in football history. He has won 41 trophies in his 10+ years career and has played in some of the biggest clubs in European football. Alves is best known for his contributions to a legendary Barcelona team at the beginning of the last decade and has also represented the Brazilian National Team on several occasions.
In a video message, Alves congratulated HH Shaikh Khaled on having the fastest growing event in the world and sends an important message about sports and the importance it has on people’s lives globally.
“Those of us who practice sport strongly believe that it transforms people’s lives, that it brings hope to the lives of these people and not only when people invest in sports but also when they put their soul into it,” says Alves. “I believe that is the difference of BRAVE CF, His Highness put his soul into this sport and that’s why it can reach so many people. So congratulations, we are together.”
BRAVE CF has been transparent about its mission to change athletes’ lives and reform the landscape of the sport of MMA since its establishment in 2016. It has provided opportunities for fighters, establishing national sports development programs, and making each event a national project for the host country to get government officials involved in supporting athletes.
The vision of HH Shaikh Khaled has received the recognition of top athletes across the globe with Daniel Alves now joining the likes of Conor McGregor in highlighting BRAVE Combat Federation’s contributions to combat sports around the world.
