Across The Pond Profile: Bellator MMA fighter Christian Edwards

Today’s changing world has allowed promotions to cycle through fresh waves of youthful talent. A professional mixed martial artist since July 2019 and representing Jackson-Wink MMA, Christain Edwards owns an undefeated 4-0 professional record comprised of two knockouts, one submission, and one decision. Edwards has spent his entire tenure as a pro-MMA fighter with Bellator MMA and has finished three out of his four victories with two first-round finishes under his belt so far. The majority of Edward’s wins during his time in the professional career have come within the first two rounds and has gone to the scorecards a single time. He is currently 4-0 under the banner of Bellator MMA with three finishes in those four showings.

In his MMA debut and promotional debut with Bellator MMA at Bellator 224, he faced Justin Vargas and went on to defeat him via TKO in the first round. Edwards knocked out Ceasar Bennett in round one at Bellator 233 to score back-to-back victories with Bellator MMA, Then in his third outing with Bellator MMA at Bellator 239, he defeated Dimarcco Hutchinson via unanimous decision to earn his first decision win as a professional.

At Bellator 249, Edwards submitted Hamza Salim via rear-naked choke in the second round. The win earned Edwards the first submission victory of his professional career, He also picked up his fourth win in a row under the banner of Bellator MMA in the process. At just 22 years old with power like a firecracker combined with a championship mindset of a sharpened marksman, Edwards is one cannon whose mark never misses it’s the dead-on aim!
