A professional mixed martial artist since September 2019 and representing Murcielago MMA, Mando Gutierrez owns a 5-1 record through six contests as a professional with all five of those victories coming via submission. Gutierrez has finished 100 percent of his wins during his time in the professional ranks with four first-round finishes under his belt. Gutierrez competed on the regional scene in his home state of Michigan including Total Warrior Combat and Lights Out Championship prior to making his promotional debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance in July 2020 at LFA 86. He is currently 2-1 under the banner of Legacy Fighting Alliance. with two finishes in those three appearances. The majority of Gutierrez’s victories during his pro career have come before the close of the opening round.
In his MMA debut at Lights Out Championship 5, he submitted Mike Thompson in the first round via rear-naked choke. Gutierrez tapped out Kevin Walker jr in round two at Total Warrior Combat. At Lights Out Championship 7, he submitted Adam Kehr via rear-naked choke in the first round. Gutierrez tapped out Jeff Jepsen in round one via rear-naked choke at LFA 86.
Then in his third outing with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 106, he submitted William Elliott via rear-naked choke in the first round. The victory earned Gutierrez the fifth submission win of his professional career. He also picked up victory number two under the banner of Legacy Fighting Alliance in the process.
