The key to LFA’S success is the ability to build divisions around those on the upward ascent. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet an eagle of flames raging through LFA’s featherweight ranks with the bursting power of a bottle rocket. A professional mixed martial artist since August 2016 and representing CSW under the steerage of head coach Ben Jones, Javier Garcia owns a 7-3 record through 10 professional contests comprised of five submissions and two decisions. Garcia is currently 2-0 under the banner of Legacy Fighting Alliance. He has earned a finish in five out of his seven victories overall during his time in the professional ranks. The majority of Garcia’s wins during his pro career have come within the distance. He has gone to the scorecards twice during his career, winning via decision in both instances.

In his MMA debut at Fight Club OC, he faced Craig Plaskett and went on to submit him via rear-naked choke in the third round. Garcia also tapped out his next two foes in Austin Wilson and Donte Stubbs. Then at CXF 15 Rage in the Cage, he submitted Rob Gooch in the first round via reverse triangle choke. Garcia defeated Geoff Thomas Mellor via a split decision at Fight Club OC 60. In his promotional debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 102, he defeated Aj Cunningham via unanimous decision to pick up his second decision win as a professional.

For his second outing with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 104, Garcia submitted Timothy Teves via triangle choke in the third round. The victory earned Garcia the fifth submission win of his professional career. He also picked up back-to-back wins under the LFA banner in the process. With five finishes in seven wins, Garcia is one submission specialist who knows how to crank the volume at just the right time!
