Across The Pond Profile: Cage Warriors fighter George Hardwick

For mixed martial artists, the sting of setback can add fuel to the fire for a stronger performance the next time out. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a bulldog of brute strength looking to erase all doubt and rebound in a thrilling manner that will make jaws drop and heads turn at Cage Warriors 124 on June 25 in the second of three consecutive events from London’s York Hall.  A professional mixed martial artist since August 2017 and representing Middleborough Fight Academy, George Hardwick owns a 6-1 record through seven professional contests comprised of four decisions and two submissions. Hardwick has fought for numerous promotions throughout Europe including Bellator MMA and Cage Warriors. Hardwick has gone to the scorecards four times during his time in the professional ranks and has gone on to finish two out of his six victories during his career as a pro-MMA fighter so far, with a single first-round finish under his belt.

In his MMA debut, he faced Craig Edwards and went on to defeat him via unanimous decision. Hardwick submitted Luke Dixon in the first round at Made 4 the Cage 26 fight night. He defeated his next two opponents via decision in Robin Roos and Ben Bennett. Then in his promotional debut with Bellator MMA at Bellator 240, Hardwick tapped out Richard Kiely in the second round to pick up his second submission win as a professional. He defeated Niccolo Solli via unanimous decision at Bellator Millan. The victory earned Hardwick the fourth decision win of his professional career.

For his second appearance with Cage Warriors at Cage Warriors 124 on June 25, he will square off against Dean Trueman in an affair at lightweight. Other fighters that are set to appear on Cage Warriors 124 include undefeated submission specialist Nathan Fletcher and former flyweight champion Luke Shanks. Good luck George!
