International flavor has remained a vital key in LFA’S recipe of continued success. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to an Anaconda of the green jungle ready to exercise poisonous vengeance as one of the promotion’s up-and-coming strawweight slayers at LFA 110 on July 2. A professional mixed martial artist since September 2020 and representing Checkmat Charleston BJJ, Jacqueline Amorim owns an undefeated 3-0 professional record, with all three of her victories as a pro-MMA fighter coming via submission. Amorim has yet to make it out of the opening round at any point during her time in the professional ranks thus far and is currently 1-0 under the banner of Legacy Fighting Alliance, with one first-round finish under her belt. 100 percent of Amorim’s wins have come within the space of a single round in a five-minute period. Amorim competed on the regional scene in her home nation of Brazil prior to making her promotional debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 101 in March 2021.

In her professional MMA debut at Mr. Cage 42, she faced Luana Nogueira and went on to submit her in the first round via armbar. Amorim also tapped out Paula Farias via arm-triangle choke in the first round at Mega Fight Champions. Then in her promotional debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 101, she submitted the debuting Taisha Gandy via rear-naked choke in the first round. The victory earned Amorim the third submission win of her professional career. She also picked up win number one under the banner of Legacy Fighting Alliance in the process along with her third straight first-round finish in a row.

For her second outing with Legacy Fighting Alliance on July 2 at LFA 110, she will take on Megan Owen in a women’s strawweight affair in the lone preliminary bout of the night. Good luck Jacqueline!
