Undefeated, flyweight, Cage Warriors champion Jake “White Kong” Hadley is set to fight on Dana White’s Contender Series.

The 7-0 fighter from Birmingham is competing against Brazilian, Jungle Fight Flyweight champion, Kleydson “KR” Rodrigues (6-1) for a chance at a UFC contract.

Rodrigues captured the vacant Jungle fight flyweight belt back in October 2019 via a rear-naked choke against the then-undefeated Henrique de Silva.

Hadley made his debut in Cage Warriors back in September 2020, at 5-0,  against Shajidul Haque and instantly made an impression with an impressive first-round KO. Hadley then went to win his title in his second appearance at Cage Warriors, on the 12th December last year, against the then-undefeated champion Luke Shanks via unanimous decision.

The news was confirmed by Paradigm Sports on Twitter, that Hadley will star on the Contender Series, which will take place at the UFC Apex arena, Las Vegas on the 21st of September.
