In MMA, taking a gamble can either leave you burned or lead to paydirt. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a sledgehammer of the bible belt whose finishing power has downed many an opponent with the force of a holy fireball. A professional mixed martial artist since April 2013 and representing Genesis Training Center and 10th Planet Denver, Bubba Grant owns an 8-6 record through 14 professional bouts comprised of seven knockouts and one submission. Grant competed for various regional promotions throughout the Midwestern United States prior to making his promotional debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 106 in April 2021. He has finished all eight of his wins during his time in the professional ranks and is currently 1-0 under the banner of Legacy Fighting Alliance.

In his professional MMA debut at Shamrock FC fight night, he faced Jonah Fleener and went on to defeat him via TKO in the first round. Grant also defeated his next two foes via TKO in David Hammons and Jacob Zogg. Then at Shamrock FC Meltdown, he defeated Kenny Fredenburg via TKO in round one. Grant defeated Anjel Osiris via TKO in the first round at SCL Wyoming. At Carden Combat Sports 4, he defeated Herbert Morgan via TKO in round one. Grant submitted Chris Beal in the first round at Universal Combat League Battle For All Hallow’s Eve to pick up his first and only submission win as a professional so far.

In his promotional debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 106, he defeated fellow finisher and knockout artist Trevor Wallace via TKO in the first round. The win earned Grant the seventh knockout victory of his professional career. He also picked up victory number one under the banner of Legacy Fighting Alliance in the process. With a reputation for one punch brutality, LFA have certainly found themselves a home run hitter at heavyweight that swings for the fences!
