Countless unbeaten prospects have passed through MMA like the changing of seasons. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a tiger of a tank ready to burst through the firing line at Bellator 262 on July 16. A professional mixed martial artist since July 2017 and representing American Top Team, Johnny Eblen owns an undefeated 8-0 professional record comprised of four knockouts, one submission, and three decisions. Eblen fought for Shamrock FC prior to making his promotional debut with Bellator MMA at Bellator 218 in March 2019. He is currently 4-0 under the banner of Bellator MMA, with one finish under his belt in four appearances with the promotion. The majority of Eblen’s victories during his time in the professional MMA ranks have come within the opening round. He has gone to the scorecards three times during his career as a pro-MMA fighter, sweeping them all three times.
In his professional MMA debut at Shamrock FC 291, he defeated Wayne Collier via TKO in the first round. Eblen also defeated his next two foes in Raymond Gray and Wayman Carter at Shamrock FC 298 and Shamrock FC 308 respectively. He defeated Tyler Lee via unanimous decision at Shamrock FC 310. Then in his promotional debut with Bellator MMA at Bellator 218, Eblen defeated Chauncey Foxworth via unanimous decision. He defeated Mauricio Alonso via unanimous decision at Bellator 229, At Bellator 250, he defeated Taylor Johnson via unanimous decision to earn his third decision win as a professional. Eblen knocked out Daniel Madrid in the first round at Bellator 258. The win earned Eblen the fourth knockout victory of his professional career. He also picked up victory number four under the banner of Bellator MMA in the process.
On July 16 at Bellator 262, he will face Travis Davis in a middleweight encounter to open up the main card on Showtime. Good luck Johnny!
