In mixed martial arts, reaching the top of the summit is a steady but steep journey filled with pitfalls. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a polar grizzly of the mountain ready to ice over the opposition at LFA 116 on October 22 from Dobson Arena in Vail Colorado. A professional mixed artist since April 2019 and representing SBG Kalispell, Maric Mann holds an unbeaten 3-0 professional record, with all three of her wins as a pro-MMA fighter coming via knockout. Mann has finished 100 percent of her win throughout her career in the professional ranks thus far, with two first-round finishes under her belt to go along with a single third-round finish. She has also fought for Fusion Fight League and Adventure Combat Enterprises, regional MMA promotions based in her home state of Montana. All three of Mann’s wins during her pro career have come within the distance. She has yet to reach the scorecards at any point during her time as a professional mixed martial artist thus far.

In her MMA debut, she faced Megan Winick and went on to knock her out in the first round. Mann also defeated Jamie Thorton via TKO in the first round in the main event of Fusion Fight League. Then, she defeated Jennifer Clausius via TKO in the third round. The victory earned Mann the third knockout win of her professional career. She also picked up her third finish in a row in the process.

In her promotional debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 116 on October 22, she will face Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series season four alumni Pauline Macias in a strawweight encounter. Other fighters that are slated to appear on LFA 116 include top middleweight prospect and former title challenger Josh Fremd, Jalin Fuller, and Jacobi Jones. Good luck Marnic!
