Across The Pond Profile: Bellator MMA fighter Luke Trainer

Showing respect is a sign of true professionals in mixed martial arts. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a bronco of flames etching a trail of terror with his heated hammers in Bellator MMA. A professional mixed martial artist since March 2019 and representing Team Titan, Luke Trainer owns an undefeated 5-0 professional record comprised of three knockouts and two submissions. Trainer has fought for multiple promotions throughout his career in the professional ranks including Fightstar Championship, Bellator MMA, and Rise Of Champions. He has finished all five of his wins during his tenure as a pro-MMA fighter thus far, with three first-round finishes under his belt. Trainer is currently 2-0 under the banner of Bellator MMA, with two finishes for the promotion. He has yet to go to the scorecards at any point during his journey as a professional mixed martial artist thus far.

In his MMA debut at Rising Of Champions 7, he defeated Gareth Hales via TKO in the first round. Trainer tapped out Diego Bjorn Valencia in the third round via rear-naked choke at Fightstar Championship 17. Then at EFN Manchester, he submitted Macej Sosnowski via rear-naked choke in round one. In his promotional debut with Bellator MMA at Bellator Milan Trainer defeated Alex O’ Toole via TKO in the first round to earn win number one with Bellator MMA along with his third first-round finish.

At Bellator 267, he defeated Yannick Bahati via TKO in the second round. The victory earned Trainer the third knockout win of his professional career. He also picked up back-to-back victories under the banner of Bellator MMA in the process. At just 25 years of age, a 100 percent finishing rate, and an undefeated pro record, Trainer is one prospect that remains a gentleman to his core from the opening round to the final sound of the bell!
