Throughout the five Cage Warriors trilogies, various European nations have seized the Cage Warriors spotlight by the horns. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to an emerald serpent looking to slither out from hiding as Cage Warrior’s newest Irish import. A professional mixed martial artist since June 2021 and representing Team KF Martial Arts under the stewardship of head coach Chris Feilds, Ryan Shelley owns an unbeaten 2-0 professional record comprised of one submission and one knockout. He has finished both of his victories during his journey as a pro-MMA fighter thus far, with two second-round finishes under his belt. Shelley is currently 1-0 under the banner of Cage Warriors, with one finish for the promotion. He has also fought for Clan Wars. Shelley has yet to reach the scorecards at any point during his time in the professional MMA ranks.

In his MMA debut at Clan Wars 40 Elite Series 2, he faced Alexander Yankov and went on to knock him out in the second round. Then in his promotional debut with Cage Warriors on the preliminary portion of Cage Warriors 127 during the opening night of the trilogy part five, he submitted Liam Molloy in the second round via rear-naked choke. The victory earned Shelley the first submission win of his professional career. He also picked up victory number one under the banner of Cage Warriors along with his second straight finish in the process. With stars like submission specialist Paul Redmond and former Cage Warriors middleweight champion James Webb having rheir own Irish glory, Shelley is the latest wolfhound thirsting for a taste of European MMA’S golden goose!
