Across The Pond Profile: XFC MMA fighter Sean McPadden

The best thing a fighter can do after their first professional loss is rebound better than ever before. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a Viking of the ice looking to rain down some cold vengeance at young guns 4 on December 10. A professional mixed martial artist since December 2018 and representing Mccune’s Martial Arts, Sean McPadden owns a 4-1 record through five professional bouts comprised of three submissions and one knockout. McPadden has fought for several promotions throughout his career as a pro-MMA fighter including Shamrock FC and Legacy Fighting Alliance. He has earned a finish in all four of his victories during his time in the professional ranks, with three of those finishes coming in the first round. McPadden has yet to reach the scorecards at any point during his pro career. The majority of McPadden’s wins during his career as a professional mixed martial artist thus far have come inside the opening round. He also has one second-round finish on his ledger.

In his professional MMA debut and promotional debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 56, he faced Jessie Wannemacher and submitted him via rear-naked choke in the first round. McPadden defeated Jason Huntley via TKO in round one at LFA 61. Then in his third appearance with Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 77, he tapped out Zachary-Buros Nash in the second round via rear-naked choke. McPadden submitted Mark Slyter via triangle choke in round one at Shamrock FC 326. The win earned McPadden the third submission victory of his professional career. He also picked up his third-round one finish in the process.

At young guns 4 on December 10, he will take on the undefeated Austin Bashi in an all-action affair at bantamweight. Good luck Sean!
