Cage Warriors has always been considered a promotion with plenty of global inclusion at their core. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will meet a swordsman of winter looking to lay down the molten metal and forge the way forward for MMA in the Nordic regions at Cage Warriors 132 on December 11. A professional mixed martial artist since October 2013 and representing Team East Front, Edward Walls owns a 10-6 record through 16 professional bouts comprised of five knockouts, one submission, and four decisions. Walls fought for Cage, a promotion out of his home nation of Finland prior to debuting with Cage Warriors in June 2021 at Cage Warriors 124. He has finished six out of his 10 victories during his time in the professional ranks thus far. Walls has gone to the scorecards four times over the course of his career as a pro-MMA fighter so far.
He knocked out Kalle Arvelin in the second round at Shooto Finland Chicago Collision 11. Walls also defeated his next two foes in Heider Fernandes and Toni Lampinen. Then at Carelia Fight 12, he knocked out Jani Hagg in round one. Walls defeated his next three opponents that included wins over Ivan Kibala and Manolo Schiana. At Cage 45, he defeated Paata Robakidze via knockout in the third round. Walls tapped out Andrey Khokhlov in round one via rear-naked choke at Cage 49 to earn his first and only submission win as a professional. He defeated Sten Saarmae via a majority decision at Cage 50. The victory earned Walls the fourth decision win of his professional career.
For his second outing with Cage Warriors at Cage Warriors 132 on December 11, he will face Aidan Stephen at a 140-pound catchweight. Cage Warriors 132 will feature a bevy of top European talent including Scott Malone, the Figlak brothers, and a Cage Warriors flyweight title rematch between Sam Creasey and Luke Shanks. Good luck Edward!
