A matchup between UFC Featherweights Alex Caceres and Sodiq Yusuff is reportedly targeted for UFC Fight Night 204 on March 12th, sources have revealed to MMA Junkie, Cageside Press, and MMA Fighting.

The venue for the event is yet to be officially announced.

A veteran of the promotion, Alex ‘Bruce Leeroy’ Caceres made his promotional debut at UFC Fight Night 24 in 2011, amassing a 14-10 (1 NC) UFC record. Despite fighting for the promotion for just under 11 years, Caceres is currently riding the best win-streak of his professional career, having won his last 5 fights. Fighting out of Miami, Florida, the 33-year-old American secured a rear-naked choke submission of the surging Seung Woo Choi in his last outing, at UFC Vegas 41.

Fighting out of New Carrollton, Maryland, Nigerian-born ‘Super’ Sodiq Yusuff made his promotional debut at UFC Fight Night 142 in 2018. With an impressive 4-1 UFC record, Yusuff notably has 2 first round TKO stoppages from his 4 victories, against Suman Mokhtarian and Gabriel Benítez. With a return to the octagon at UFC Fight Night 204, the 28-year-old ends an 11-month absence, following a unanimous decision loss to Arnold Allen at UFC Vegas 23.

A contest destined for fireworks, Caceres vs Yusuff is not one to be missed.
