Born in Nalchik, Russia, Azamat ‘The Professional’ Murzakanov earned a deserved UFC contract on Dana White’s Contender Series, August 31st 2021, following a first round TKO victory over Matheus Scheffel. Associated with K-Dojo Warrior Tribe, the 35-year-old holds a perfect 10-0 professional record. Since earning his promotional contract, Murzakanov has endured three consecutive matchup cancellations; Marcin Prachnio (Prachnio withdrew), Philipe Lins (Lins withdrew), and Jared Vanderaa (Vanderaa not medically cleared).
Tafon ‘Da Don’ Nchukwi, fighting out of Hyattsville, Maryland, holds a 6-1 professional record. The Cameroonian, born in Bamenda, also earned his UFC contract through Dana White’s Contender Series in 2020; in his promotional debut at UFC Vegas 17, December 19th 2020, Nchukwi earned a unanimous decision victory over Jamie Pickett. The 27-year-old last fought at UFC Vegas 37, where he defeated Mike Rodriguez via unanimous decision, taking his promotional record to 2-1.
