Umar Nurmagomedov made a sensational UFC debut at UFC Fight Island 8, 20th January 2021, earning a ‘Performance of the Night’ bonus following a second-round rear-naked choke submission of Sergey Morozov. Holding a perfect 13-0 professional record, the 25-year-old has previously fought for the Professional Fighters League, claiming unanimous decision victories over Saidyokub Kakhramonov and Sidemar Honorio in 2018 and 2019 respectively.
