The Professional Fighters League, the fastest growing and most innovative sports league, held official weigh-ins for Week 1 of the 2022 PFL Challenger Series, featuring up-and-coming fighters in the light heavyweight division. American Josh Silveira, the son of MMA pioneer Marcus ‘Conan’ Silveria, will headline the card.
The undefeated Silveria tipped the scales at 205 pounds, his opponent knockout specialist Mohamed Juma of South Sudan, came in at 205.2 pounds.
In the co-main event, Germany’s Alexander Poppeck faces Taylor Johnson of the United States. Poppeck, who has recorded seven knockouts, officially weighed-in at 205.6 pounds. Taylor, who boasts a 100% finish rate, weighed-in at 204.2 pounds.
The night’s other pair of fights will see Travis Davis (206) of the United States take on Bruce Souto (202.4) of Brazil, and American Miles Amos (205.6) facing Karl Williams (205.2) of the U.S. Virgin Islands.
