Bellator London has just added what could be a fight of the night showdown between Paul “Semtex” Dayley and Andrey “Spartan” Koreshkov. With 92 bouts between these two warriors, fight fans in London will be even more excited when Scott Coker’s Bellator returns to the OVO Arena Wembley on May 13th.
Paul Daley has a staggering 63 volatile bouts to his MMA Record and is set to go out with a bang in his back garden. Retirement seems to be on the cards and to do it in his native country will make May 13th all the more meaningful. The last time we saw Daley in action was back in November 2021 at Bellator260. Despite the bout going the distance the night was not his when taking on Sanford MMA’s Jason Jackson. Dayley will be looking to go out of the industry with a win and mark himself down as one of the most highly decorated Mixed Martial Artists ever to come out of the UK.
It will not be made easy for Dayley, across the cage will be Russians own Andrey Koreshkov. Andrey holds a hat trick of wins in recent appearances at Bellator and will be looking to make his trip to London add to his impressive record. The last we saw Andrey in action was at Bellator’s last instalment, Bellator274. Blink and you would have missed his outing vs Chance Rencountre that night in Connecticut, taking out Chance with a phenomenal spinning 38 seconds of the very first round.
Dayley vs Koreshkov, UK vs Russia. The return to London for Bellator will be a night fans will not soon forget, with the addition of these two outstanding professionals it’s going to be a night of glorious organised mixed martial arts violence.
