Former UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez has been arrested by San Jose authorities and is currently being held without bail, Authorities claim the shooting happened on Monday but Cain appears to be the main suspect.
No further information was given in terms of motives and he is scheduled to appear in court this Wednesday. Authorities claim that an unidentified male was shot and transported to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Cain will go down as one of the most dominant heavyweights of all time, after MMA he found a new lease on his career in the WWE before retiring all together. This is another unfortunate event for another MMA legend as this would be a devastating blow in the legacy of one of the most entertaining and humble fighters to step into the octagon.
